OK, we don't really have much to report! Fact is, things don't change all that much at Wolf Lake Ranch. And for our returning guests, that is a comfort! The fresh air, clean water, clear starry skies and the majestic forests remained nearly unchanged since the Ranch began welcoming guests way back in 1945!
And in our modern, stressed-out world, it's nice to know that there is a place where you can return to the land and enjoy nature in the same way our guests have been doing for 64 years.

The changes we have made are geared to improving your comfort and adding more activities. Over the years, we've converted the old "hay barn" into a wonderful outdoor pavilion, we've added new cabins, a relaxing whirlpool tub, a playground structure, a tennis/basketball court and a regulation sized sand volleyball court!

With much of our season sold out a year in advance due to the overwhelming response by returning guests, it can be tough to get a cabin! But if you visit the CALENDAR you'll see we do have last minute vacancies that pop up now and then. Right NOW, we have cabins available, so call today to reserve yours!

A Wolf Lake Ranch vacation includes almost everything you need along with your room- two western style trail rides each day and three "squares" to give you the energy you need to take part in the many activities available on the Ranch, including tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, ping pong, shuffleboard, swimming, boating and more. If you wish, you can bring up your choice of beverages and snacks for between meals or around the campfires at night!

There are also several extracurricular activities available at your own cost within a few miles of Wolf Lake Ranch. These include golf, fishing, shopping and river canoeing.



	One interesting aspect of a Wolf Lake Ranch vacation is the history behind the horse and rider. Riding a horse is an uncommon experience which reminds us of our ties to nature and to history itself. When you ride one of these magnificent animals, you join a long line of historical figures who have become legends on horseback! From Paul Revere to Kit Carson and the Pony Express Riders- to modern cowboys like Tom Mix, Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. This connection with the past is a very real part of your Ranch experience.



	The Cowboy Philosophy Living like a Cowboy, even for a few days a year, can be a tonic for this fast-paced world we live in. Getting back to basics and gaining an appreciation for the beauty of nature is an essential lesson for our children. As parents, we're always looking for ways to pass on these values.
